German-origin gearbox drawings often use metric gear geometry and DIN/ISO terminology. Keep the exact drawing edition, material designation and quality callout in the RFQ rather than converting them informally.

What makes an international RFQ easier to quote.
For replacement and OEM projects, include the full drawing revision plus any inspection documentation required by the purchasing specification. If the part is helical, show helix hand and angle clearly; if it has a spline, preserve the original fit/tolerance designation.
Commercially, add the destination, target delivery, sample/first-article need, first-order quantity and expected repeat demand. This helps separate a prototype manufacturing route from a recurring production program.

The application name does not determine the Sun Gear specification by itself. Torque, speed, stage geometry, lubrication, life expectation and interfaces still have to be tied to the actual machine.
