Control the revision before scaling the order
For repeat orders, keep the customer drawing revision, approved sample status and any agreed inspection report format consistent from batch to batch.
For any order that requires material certificates, heat-treatment records or dimensional reports, identify those documents in the purchase order so the inspection and shipment package can be prepared accordingly.
